Benefits of tenants for life

With the growing need for our elderly to “bunk in together” to survive, I urge any current investor or potential investor to think about their long-term investment goals in terms of more than just financial rewards.

For my husband and I it was a no-brainer. Our latest investment property in the Bay of Plenty is one level, four bedrooms and close to amenities.  We have elderly tenants in a flatting situation.  Rent comes in on time and the house is being looked after.  We are getting a good rental income and have tenants that will be there until they can’t.

We have recently upgraded insulation and heating in the property which has increased the internal temperature by 5 degrees.  It’s not hard to be a good landlord and even easier to get good tenants.
