Special guest Donald Trott: A life of opera is the one chosen by Donald Trott. Not one for Elvis or the Beatles, Donald grew up charmed and enchanted by the sounds of great voices singing masterpieces on the world stage. But to be an opera singer involved spending huge amounts of time overseas. Could one not train in New Zealand? Yes of course. Hence The Opera School formed by Donald in Whanganui in 1994.
Our second guest tonight is Brian Crone. Searching for a Lodge project as Grand Almoner Bryan asked the ladies of the lodge to suggest a great cause. Their choice was the Homai Campus for the blind. They needed a new playground. Thanks to Brian and the team the new playground is up and running and is proving very popular…
